Visa for digital nomads

It refers to the passport holders of 100 nationalities or territories that will be exempt from a visa for various activities. Among them, to work remotely or to provide services from Colombia as digital nomads, provided that said activities do not generate salary or wage payments in Colombia. In these cases, the Colombian Migration Special Administrative Unit may grant the corresponding permit for entry and permanence, in accordance with current regulations.

Short-stay activity is understood as one whose duration is less than 90 days and which can be extended up to 180 days.

Foreign digital nomads and remote workers who wish to stay and work from Colombia may apply for the Digital Nomad / Remote Worker Visitor visa, which is granted for up to two (2) years with a minimum of requirements.
